hi people
im actually enjoying alot of school now, but its the same way as i enjoyed life in RI. fooling around in class, doing all sorts of silly stuff boys do. somehow, the few of us treat the girls in our class as non-existent..haha. girls really complicate matters sometimes..
i guess after school its a different matter. instead of the soccer or gym i always looked forward to in RI, its either dance, training, council work, or school work. there's hardly time to take a breather, and a breather equates to buying a subway cookie, guzzling down a refreshing bowl of chengteng, or buying diluted horlicks. i guess i really want to do well academically, and not let my parents down..but i hope i dont burn out. its really quite stressful being a student in RJ..everyone's so ji hong smart. hahaha
dance is starting to become time-consuming. every week i have 6 practices, 2 for hiphjop, 2 for latin, 1 for movie medley and 1 for the opening item. then theres gym training on mon and wed nights, and occasionally, there's council stuff to do. wa piang..
anyway i made a promise to be christlike! but its so HARD..loving others is rreally really hard. my hot-tempered and impatient nature starts to surface during the teaching of hiphop...today i got ticked off by some complaints and i threw a hat onto the floor...duno what came over me :( must be all the stress.
anywya i had a talk about relationships. i think its realy important that you dont let your girlfriend or boyfriend become your life. firstly, if that happens, everything u do revolves around him/her, which is NOT GOOD. u probbaly like her / him more than she/him likes you. which is not a good thing because you become possessive and u want more time with him or her. then she gets stifled. there's never really a wrong or a right in a relatioonship because alot of it is so ambiguous. there are several couples whom i know are quarrel-free...there's so much built on trust and understanding that its really quite amazing. i guess the most importnat thing is to love your girlfriend/boyfriend in the agape way, that is, loving without expecting anything in return. thats almost an impossible task, but i guess if you can do that, u can safely say you've loved that person with all your heart...even if she breaks yours.
oh yes, and at this age? dont love if you can't let go. which creates a dilemma actually. if you love a person alot and u get attached to him/her, chances are the heartbreak will be really painful.and actually, im not sure if the good times are enough to cover up for the pain during the heartbreak. cos the better the times are, the more painful the heartbreak.
yet, if you dont like a person that much, why should u get attached?
relationships are too complicated. s jp.com.sg. come to think of it, there are adults i know who've been dating since JC. so should one keep fishing for fish in the sea? or should one just wait for a fish to leap out of the water into your arms?
trust God. thats something i have to do.
its over, finally.
